Training as an Archetype and Deprogramming Coach to help yourself and others grow on the Hero's Journey

In this Journey Code Open House we will talk about ways to both help yourself and help others transform the challenges they face into a path for creation, connection, deep healing, and a best chance for freedom while we navigate, create, and serve, no matter what madness is happening out there.

When I was on the other side of a three-year, life-threatening cancer ordeal in 2003, I knew that whatever work I did after that would have to support my health, not drain the life out of me.

And it would have to help me grow as a soul, not endlessly delay and distract from that.

After the smoke cleared, when I was rapidly regaining my health, I drew a line in the sand and decided that I had to leave my family business for good and pursue what I loved and needed for myself, that served my soul, my people, and my body too.

Some people feel drained by their work to help others grow through challenges.

But using my skills to help people deprogram the effects of the death cult, and find their sacred purpose, gives me life, fuels my mission, and gives me a reason to keep going.

It's why I created Journey Code, to show others how to not lose energy in service, to help with wisdom and skill, and to further de-code the programming that interferes with us naturally growing on our Hero's Journey.

• Stop giving advice to people who don't take it, and help those who would make real and lasting changes...though Journey Code isn't about giving advice.

To kick off the Open House I'll be giving a talk on The Power of Questions

Asking questions is one of the guiding principles of good coaching. In this talk I'll teach about why giving advice and guidance is a weak approach to helping people that leads to unnecessary struggle in those you work with, and how true healing power lies in questions, because...

Asking questions doesn't bring up resistance like advice or counsel. Rather they are an open-ended invitation to seeing the unseen, and finding direction rather than just taking it from someone.

Good questions empower free will and the choice for freedom. You can't break and enter someone's unconscious. They must be the ones who decide to venture into that unknown territory.

In this talk I'm going to teach you the ins and outs of how questions interact with the psyche, how I use them in every aspect of my work including coaching, training, teaching, and podcasting...

And I will teach you exactly how to ask the most powerful questions!! This applies to relationships and social networks as much as it does to coaching and teaching.

I will also talk about why a coaching profession can be a path to greater freedom in your work.
